Located 20 minutes southwest of Oslo, Asker kulturhus remains one of the region’s most important culture venues. During the 1980s and 90s its classical music series was at its height, keeping a roster of both international and nationally renowned artists. Moving back from London in 2019, I was delighted to be approached and asked to revitalise and bring back the once very established series.

Using Venskaben, a beautiful recital venue located on a picturesque height overlooking the regional centre of Asker, the new series – Klassisk på Venskaben – had a successful launch in January 2020, only to be interrupted by the pandemic in March.
